Makhteshim-Agan Industries (MAI) is to gain access to Syngentaʼs strobilurin fungicide, azoxystrobin. The
companies have secured a long-term deal. MAI will develop and market its own azoxystrobin-based
products, mainly in mixtures with its existing portfolio. Chairman and CEO Avraham Bigger welcomes the
addition of the “worldʼs best-selling fungicide” to the companyʼs product range. “We expect to launch various
new mixture solutions for a wide variety of crops worldwide,” he says.
